Armin Lange

Armin Alfred Johann Caspar Lange (born December 20, 1961 in Rahden ) is a German Judaist.

Life

From 1982 to 1990 he studied at the Faculty of Protestant Theology at the University of Münster ( master's thesis with Hans-Peter Müller ). After completing his doctorate in 1994 in Münster with Hermann Lichtenberger and his habilitation in 2001 with Bernd Janowski in Tübingen, he has been teaching since 2004 as a professor for Judaism of the Second Temple at the University of Vienna .
