Armin Stremitzer

Armin Stremitzer (born April 29, 1983 ) is a hockey player from Austria .

He played for the Academic Hockey and Tennis Club Vienna (AHTC), where he moved to the 2008/09 season, together with his brother Elmar, from Post SV Vienna , where he had played since childhood. With the AHTC, Stremitzer immediately became a champion on the field and in the hall. Before that he had won the national championship title in the field and the cup with Post SV 2006. In the 2006/07 season he played for French champions Paris St. Germain , which he helped to win the championship again and win the French Cup. With Saint-Germain he also took part in the last European Cup of Masters in Bloemendaal before the Euro Hockey League was launched the following season .

National team

Stremitzer made his debut in the Alpine Cup for Austria in 2000 and has since been an integral part of those teams that achieved their first participation in an A-European Championship in 2007 in Lisbon at the B-EM in Austria's field, as well as participation in the qualifying tournament for the Olympic Summer Games 2008 and the qualifying tournament for the 2010 Hockey World Cup in India .

From 2009 he was the captain of the Austrian national hockey team and European indoor hockey champion in 2010 . As of January 18, 2010, Stremitzer had played 122 international matches.

He is the twin brother of Elmar Stremitzer , who was also an Austrian national player. He works for an Austrian bank.
