Armin Willemsen

Armin Willemsen (born January 27, 1985 in Bonn ) is a German / Austrian basketball player . The two-meter-long winger played six games in the basketball league .

career

Willemsen began playing basketball in Austria at the age of eleven .

He played for TuS Lichterfelde in the 2nd basketball league  and in the regional league before moving to Oldenburg in 2006. There he made  his debut in the basketball league in the EWE Baskets Oldenburg jersey and played with a double license mainly for the Oldenburg TB in the regional league.

In the 2007/08 season he played for TV Langen in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA and briefly for the Skyliners Frankfurt in the Bundesliga (two missions). In the 2008/09 season he wore the SSV Lokomotive Bernau jersey in the Regionalliga and moved to VfB Hermsdorf during the season.

In 2009 he moved back to Frankfurt and played for the second men's team of the Skyliners in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB . In the 2010/11 season Willemsen was in the service of the Licher BasketBears in the ProB.

In 2013 Willemsen returned to Berlin and played for VfB Hermsdorf in the 2nd regional league and later for SV Empor Berlin.

National team

In the summer of 2005, Willemsen took part in the European Championship in Russia with the German U20 national  team. In 2009 he was part of the German team at the World Military Championship.
