Arnaldo Galliera
Arnaldo Galliera (born October 4, 1871 in Milan , † August 9, 1934 there ) was an Italian composer and music teacher .
The son of the organist and composer Cesare Galliera studied organ with Polibio Fumagalli and composition with Alfredo Catalani at the Milan Conservatory . In 1892 he presented Trilby , a one-act opera, as his final thesis . In 1897 he became a professor of organ and composition at the Parma Conservatory. In 1913 he came as the winner of a tender in the same capacity at the Milan Conservatory. His son was the organist and composer Alceo Galliera .
