Arne Ross
Arne Roß (born September 20, 1966 in Hamburg ) is a German writer . He is the author of narrative works and poems .
Life
After high school and community service , Arne Roß went to Berlin in 1987 . There he began a teacher training course for the subjects of German and history. In 1992/93 he was a foreign language assistant at a college in Yorkshire . In 1998 he passed his second state examination; since then he has lived as a freelance writer in Berlin. Since 2001 he has also been running writing workshops for young people.
Arne Roß received a. a. the following awards: In 1999, the town clerk office of Berlin-Hellersdorf and by the Sueddeutsche Zeitung and a literary agency donated prize for a literary debut, in 2000, a residency at the Künstlerhaus Schloss Wiepersdorf , 2004 Jury Prize at the Ingeborg Bachmann competition in Klagenfurt and in 2006 the art prize for literature from the state of Brandenburg Lotto GmbH .
