Arne Tuft (born January 16, 1911 in Hønefoss , † June 23, 1989 in Oslo ) was a Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Tuft, who started for the IF Liv , finished sixth over 50 km in his only Olympic participation in 1936 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . The following year he took part in the 50 km run at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Chamonix , which he ended prematurely. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1938 , he came 115th over 18 km. His grandson Svein is active as a cyclist .
