Arno Zaspel

Arno Zaspel (* unknown; † May 11, 1931 in Naundorf ) was a German motorcycle racer .

Life

The Freiberger Arno Zaspel, full time foreman at OD , denied from 1930 team -race for in Dresden and Brand-Erbisdorf based manufacturer. He won in 1930 on an OD team with JAP - engine at the Eifel race on the southern loop of the Nürburgring in the 1000 cc class. At the Great German Baths Prize at the Berlin AVUS , he took third place in the 1000 team. In 1930 he also won the title in the German motorcycle road championship in this category .

On May 11, 1931, Zaspel and his team had a serious accident during training for the Grillenburg triangle race near Naundorf and succumbed to his injuries on the same day.
