Wang Jinping (born May 11, 1971 ) is a former Chinese biathlete .

Wang Jinping has been a member of the Chinese national team since 1989 and has participated in international races since the early 1990s. The first international championship was the 1990 World Championships in Minsk , where she was 42nd of the individual. The next major event was the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville . Here Wang was one of the first women to take part in the women's races held for the first time at the Olympic Games. She was 52nd in the sprint and 61st in the individual race. In the relay race, she was twelfth as a starting runner alongside Liu Giulan and Song Aiqin . The 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer marked the end of a career . Here Wang was used on the side of Liu Giulan, Song Aiqin and Wang Jinfen in the relay race, with which she was 14th. Jinping achieved her best result in the World Cup as 23rd of an individual in 1994 in Antholz . It was also her only win of World Cup points.
