The Biathlon World Cup 1993/94 was a series of competitions in biathlon that consisted of 12 individual, six relay and one team races for men and women and was held at six venues. In addition to the six World Cup events in Bad Gastein , Pokljuka , Ruhpolding , Antholz , Hinton and Canmore , the 1994 Winter Olympics took place in Lillehammer , Norway . However, the results were not included in the World Cup ranking as the last results of a major event. The overall world cup for men was won by Patrice Bailly-Salins ahead of Sven Fischer and Frank Luck , for women Swjatlana Paramyhina won ahead of Nathalie Santer and Anne Briand .
