Yvonne Carolin Visser (born July 9, 1965 in Millarville ) is a Canadian biathlon trainer and a former biathlete.

Yvonne Visser started for the Foothills Nordic Ski Club . She took part for the first time in 1986 in Falun in World Championships and finished 18 in the sprint and 20 in the individual. A year later she was in Lahti both in the individual as well as in the sprint 26th Visser had another World Cup appearance again in 1990 in Minsk , where she was 41st of the individual. The high point of his career was the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville , where biathlon was also available to women for the first time. In the first Olympic race, the sprint, the Canadian finished 59th and reached 52nd place in the individual. The next international championships were the 1993 in Borowetz . In Bulgaria she reached the 25th place in the individual, was 40th in the sprint and came as the last runner with Gillian Hamilton , Myriam Bédard and Lise Meloche in 12th place in the relay race. At the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer , they did not take part, only at the World Championships in 1994 in Canmore in their Canadian homeland, where the non-Olympic competitions were held in the team race, she ran her last international championship. With Lise Meloche, Kristin Berg and Jane Isakson she reached sixth place. In the World Cup , the Canadian reached the points several times, including two 17th places in singles in the 1993/94 season . After her active career, Visser became a trainer. In 1999 she was named Trainer of the Year in Canada . She lives in Nanaimo .
