Gillian "Gill" Ruth Hamilton (born August 29, 1969 in Belfast ) is a former Canadian biathlete .

Gillian Hamilton lives in Canmore and started for Foothills Nordic Ski Club . In 1987 she started biathlon. Since the 1992/93 season , she has regularly participated in international World Cup races for two years . With a 36th place in an individual in Lillehammer , she achieved her best career result. The first international championship was the Biathlon World Championships in 1993 in Borowetz , where she was 46th in sprint and individual as well as 12th in the relay race with Myriam Bédard , Lise Meloche and Yvonne Visser . The 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer became a career highlight. In their only Olympic race, Hamilton finished 45th in the sprint. After the end of the season , she ended her active career.
