Pavel Kotraba (born November 3, 1970 in Teplice ) is a former Slovak biathlete .

Pavel Kotraba is a trainer and lives in Plzeň . He competed in his first international races before the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in the World Cup . Several times he reached the points by the end of his career. After the dissolution, he became part of the newly created Slovak national squad. The first international championships were the 1993 World Championships in Borowetz . Kotraba was 88th of the sprint and with Pavel Sládek , Lukáš Krejčí and Daniel Krčmář as the final runner eleventh of the relay race. He was among the first Olympic Team Slovakia and took in Lillehammer to the1994 Winter Olympics where he was 51st of the sprint and 18th with Pavel Sládek, Daniel Krčmář and Lukáš Krejčí with the Slovak relay. After the season he ended his career as well as the three other most important representatives of the first generation of Slovak biathletes Pavel Sládek, Daniel Krčmář and Lukáš Krejčí and made way for a new generation of Slovak biathletes.
