Sylvia Kaden (born February 1, 1974 ) is a former German biathlete .

Sylvia Kaden competed in several races of the Biathlon World Cup between 1993 and 1996 . In her first race (individual) in Bad Gastein she was 49. In Ruhpolding she was able to win World Cup points for the first time in a sprint race in twelfth place the following year. It should be her best result in the World Cup. However, Kaden achieved her greatest success in the Biathlon European Cup . In the 1990/91 season she was third in the overall standings behind Petra Bauer and Katrin Kruschwitz . In 1994/95 she won the ranking ahead of Steffi Kindt and Katrin Apel .
