Steven Cyr (born May 20, 1967 in Werl , Germany ) is a former Canadian biathlete .

The sports soldier Steve Cyr lives in Québec and started for Courcelette Québec . He has been biathlon since 1986. He has been in the biathlon world cup since the early 1990s . Cyr was rarely able to perform well over a long period of time, but had several very good individual results. So he reached in the 1992 Olympic Games of Albertville in Les Saisies eighth place in the sprint competition. In 1997, Osrblie's best result was a ninth place in the World Cup . The best world championships for him were the world title fights in 1995 in Antholz , where he was 25th in the individual and 28th in the sprint. Cyr participated in three Olympic Games and six world championships. Mostly he placed in the squares between 40 and 60. Best result at the Olympics in 1994 of Lillehammer was ranked 26th in the sprint. Four years later he was in Nagano at the distance 48. He contested his last races in the World Cup in the 2004/05 season .
