Franck Perrot started for La Plagne Douanes . He made his debut in the Biathlon World Cup in the early 1990s and participated in it until 1997. The first highlight of his career was the 1992 Junior World Championships in Canmore , where the Frenchman won the individual title and came second in the sprint behind René König . The next highlight was the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer , where he was 47th of the individual. At the beginning of the 1994/95 season he achieved his best World Cup result in an individual in Bad Gastein with fourth place. At the biathlon world championships in 1995 in Antholz , Perrot achieved his greatest international success. After finishing tenth in the individual, he won the bronze medal with Thierry Dusserre , Lionel Laurent and Stéphane Bouthiaux in the team race behind the Norwegians and the Czechs. The last major event was the 1996 Biathlon World Championships in Ruhpolding , where the Frenchman finished 70th in the individual, 40th in the sprint and as a starting runner with Raphaël Poirée , Thierry Dusserre and Hervé Flandin fifth in the relay race.
