Ludwig Gredler (born November 19, 1967 in Hall in Tirol ) is a former Austrian biathlete .

Career

The trained retail salesman who lives in Tux began his career in the ÖSV in 1990 . In the 1990/1991 World Cup season in Lahti , he took part in his first world championship. The Tyrolean achieved 28th place over 10 km. At his first Olympic Winter Games in Albertville , he was 11 over 10 km. Gredler won his first World Cup competition in the 1992/1993 season in Pokljuka with the relay. The Tyrolean won his first individual World Cup victory in 1992/1993 in Kontiolahti over 20 km. In the 1999/2000 season at the Biathlon World Championships in Oslo , he was runner-up over 20 km. Gredler's current job is a regular soldier in the Austrian Armed Forces.

Since the 2014/15 season , Gredler has been the assistant coach of the national team of Austrian biathlon men.
