Arnold Heymerick

Arnold Heymerick (also Arnold Heimerik , actually Arnold Brunekin ; * before 1424 in Kleve ; † July 30, 1491 in Xanten ) was a German Abbreviator and cathedral dean .

Life

Arnold Heymerick, who was born in Kleve before 1424, was trained from 1430 by the brothers and sisters in Deventer and had been matriculated in Cologne since 1434 . From 1437 Heymerick was active at the Roman Curia , where he was papal Abbreviator. In 1459 Heymerick became dean of St. Viktor's collegiate church in Xanten, where he died in 1491 and was buried at the south portal of the same.
