Arnold Libbertz

Johann Arnold Libbertz (born February 15, 1882 in Dresden , † November 17, 1960 in Berlin-Zehlendorf ) was a German bank manager and an official of the voluntary welfare organization .

Life

After graduating from the Royal High School in Dresden, Arnold Libbertz studied law at the Universities of Tübingen and Kiel. In 1901 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Tübingen . In 1904 he was promoted to Dr. jur. doctorate and after the assessor exam was initially employed as a court assessor. From 1911 to 1920 he was director of Revision Treuhand AG in Berlin. After working in industry, he worked as a specialist in financial and economic advice and restructuring.

Libbertz was a member of the Club of Berlin and the Automobile Club of Germany . His voluntary work was particularly focused on the German Red Cross , where he held the office of deputy treasurer until 1929. He was also a member of the supervisory board and treasurer of the relief fund of charitable organizations in Germany .
