Arnold Peter Møller (AP Møller) (born October 2, 1876 in Dragør ; † June 12, 1965 in Copenhagen ) was a Danish shipowner and majority owner of the "Aktieselskabet Dampskibsselskabet Svendborg" and the "Dampskibsselskabet af 1912, Aktieselskab".

In 1904, AP Møller and his father, Captain Peter Mærsk Møller, founded the Svendborg steamship company as a public limited company . He wanted another company in which he had the sole say, so in 1912 he founded the D / S 1912 .

In 1913 his son Arnold Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller was born, who developed the two companies into the largest container shipping company in the world. The AP Møller-Mærsk group now includes several shipyards and supermarket chains and, until June 30, 2005, the Maersk Air airline . The AP Møller-Skolen in Schleswig was named in honor of Arnold Peter Møller .
