Aron Boks (born May 14, 1997 in Wernigerode ) is a German author, poetry slammer and presenter from Berlin.

Live and act

In 2016, Boks began studying German, history and later journalism at the Free University of Berlin . His stage career began in 2016 when he won the state championship in Magdeburg in the U20 category and the Magdeburg city championship in the same year.

After various work at sponsored editorial workshops and the taz at the weekend , Aron Boks wrote his first story, which was published in April 2018 by Unsichtbar Verlag and was awarded the Klopstock Prize for New Literature in 2019.

In 2019, his autobiographical book Luft nach unten was published , which addresses anorexia, especially in men.

He also moderates poetry slams and other events in Saxony-Anhalt, Brandenburg and Berlin and, together with the musician Jonathan Schmitz, is the founder of the band Das Zappelte Tanzorchester .
