Arpad Bondy

Arpad Bondy (born April 2, 1947 in Goslar ) is a German producer , composer , author , director , film editor and sound designer .

Bondy was already active as a film composer while studying directing from 1967 to 1970. He wrote shows like Katzenmusik (1968) or Jörn Pfennig's Parade (1970). In 1971 he made his debut as a television producer with the documentary Dein Betrieb (SDR). In 1977 he wrote the theme music for the ZDF series Peter Voss, the millionaire , in which Wolf Roth played the title role. From 1978 to 1986 he worked with Ron Orders in London and wrote film scores for the Arts Council. In 1986 he was co-director Animal Traffic (German: We kill what we love ), for which he received the Ökomedia Prize in 1988.

Bondy's best-known pieces of music include the title music for the TV series SOKO 5113 (1976–1987, ZDF), and Sketchup (1983, BR).

Arpad Bondy has three daughters and two sons. His daughter Anisha (* 1981) is an opera director, his son Sol (* 1979) founded the film production company ONETWO-FILMS in 2010.
