Arrigo Boldrini (born September 6, 1915 in Ravenna ; † January 22, 2008 ibid) was an Italian politician and member of the Communist Party of Italy (PCI).

Life

During the Second World War Boldrini was partisan of the Resistancea . After the end of the war he was a member of the Constituent Assembly , from 1948 to 1976 a member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies and then from 1976 to 1994 a member of the Senate . From December 1947 to February 2006, Boldrini was President of the Associazione Nazionale Partigiani d'Italia (ANPI, German National Association of Partisans of Italy). In 1996 he was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic .
