The Arroyo Román Chico is a river located in western Uruguay .
The river, which belongs to the catchment area of the Río Uruguay and runs in the area of the department Río Negro , rises almost seven kilometers west of the town of Bellaco and northwest of the source of the Arroyo San Pedro . From there it flows in a westerly direction, is fed by its right-hand tributary del Sauce , after having previously passed the Cerro de Las Piedras to the south and then bends south. It flows into the Arroyo Román Grande .
