The Arroyo de la Coronilla , also Arroyuelo de la Coronilla , is a creek in the south of Uruguay .

The left tributary of the Río de la Plata rises in the area of the Department Canelones on the western flank of the Cerro de Mangrullo a few kilometers southeast of the Cerro Piedras de Afilar , southwest of Piedras de Afilar and north of Araminda . From there it flows south after initially making an arc in an easterly direction. Two kilometers from its mouth, its left tributary Junquito , which is sometimes colloquially known as Hunquito , meets it. At the point of this meeting there is a small bulge called Laguna Blanca . The approximately six kilometers long stream flows into the Río de la Plata between Santa Lucía del Este and Biarritz .
