The Arroyo del Cortado is a river in northern Uruguay .
It rises in the area of the Departamento Artigas in the Cuchilla Yacaré Cururú a few kilometers northwest of Bernabé Rivera . From there it flows in a north-westerly direction and flows into the Río Cuareim as a left tributary .
