The Bistum Hinche ( lat. : Dioecesis Hinchensis ) is in Haiti preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Hinche .
history
The Diocese of Hinche was established on April 20, 1972 by Pope Paul VI. from cession of territory by the dioceses of Les Gonaïves and Cap-Haïtien , to which it was subordinated as a suffragan . On January 31, 1991 it lost part of the territory to the diocese of Fort-Liberté .
