The Bistum Jacmel ( lat. : Dioecesis Iacmeliensis ) is in Haiti preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Jacmel .
history
The Diocese of Jacmel was founded on February 25, 1988 by Pope John Paul II from cessions of territory from the Diocese of Les Cayes . The Pope made it subject to the Archdiocese of Port-au-Prince as a suffragan .
