The Bistum Anse-à-Veal et Miragoâne ( lat. : Dioecesis Sinuvitullensis-Miragoanensis ) is in Haiti preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Anse-à-Veau .
history
The diocese of Anse-à-Veau et Miragoâne was founded on July 13, 2008 by Pope Benedict XVI. Established with the Apostolic Constitution De spirituali cogitans from cessions of territory of the Diocese of Les Cayes and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Port-au-Prince as a suffragan . The first bishop was Pierre-André Dumas .
