Launay Saturné

Launay Saturné (born January 14, 1964 in Delatte , Haiti ) is a Haitian clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Cap-Haïtien .

Life

Launay Saturne received on 10 March 1991 the auxiliary bishop in Port-au-Prince , Joseph Lafontant , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On April 28, 2010 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Jacmel . The Apostolic Nuncio in Haiti, Archbishop Bernardito Cleopas Auza , donated him episcopal ordination on May 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Cap-Haïtien, Louis Kébreau SDB , and the Auxiliary Bishop of Port-au-Prince, Joseph Lafontant.

On July 16, 2018, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Cap-Haïtien. The inauguration took place on September 23 of the same year.
