Simon-Pierre Saint-Hillien CSC (born July 6, 1951 in Gonaïves , † July 22, 2015 in Miami ) was Bishop of Hinche .
Life
Simon-Pierre Saint-Hillien occurred on September 8, 1976, the Congregation of the Congregation of Holy Cross in, put on 5 October 1980, the profession , and received on 28 December 1980, the priestly ordination .
Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Port-au-Prince and titular bishop of Lamdia on December 10, 2002 .
The Cardinal Bishop of Porto-Santa Rufina , Roger Cardinal Etchegaray , donated him episcopal ordination on February 22nd of the following year ; Co - consecrators were François-Wolff Ligondé , Archbishop of Port-au-Prince, and François Gayot SMM , Archbishop of Cap-Haïtien .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Hinche on August 6, 2009.
Simon-Pierre Saint-Hillien died on July 2, 2015 at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami of complications from cancer.
