Arsen Goulamirian (born October 4, 1987 in Armenia ) is a French professional boxer of Armenian origin in cruiserweight and current undefeated world champion of the WBA association .

Amateur career

Arsen Goulamirian won a bronze medal at the French championships in 2009 and a heavyweight gold medal at the Francophone Games in Beirut . He defeated Mohamed Arjaoui prematurely in the first round.

Professional career

The 1.86 meter standard boom made its debut at the end of May 2011 with a victory by technical knockout in round 1 in a 4-round fight against the Polish Adrian Bleszynski.

At the end of March 2013, he beat the previously undefeated Taylor Mabika (9-0-0) over 8 rounds unanimously on points. In 2016 Goulamirian won the vacant WBA continental title as well as the French championship and defended that continental title.

On March 24, 2018, Goulamirian competed against the Belgian Ryad Merhy (24-0-0) in Marseille for the vacant interim world championship of the WBA and won in round 11 by technical knockout. In October 2018 he defended the title against Mark Flanagan.
