Arseni Nikolaevich Koreschchenko
Arseny Nikolayevich Koreshchenko ( Russian Арсений Николаевич Корещенко ; born December 6, jul. / 18th December 1870 greg. In Moscow , † 3. January 1921 in Kharkiv ) was a Russian composer.
Koreschtschenko studied piano with Sergei Taneyev and composition with Anton Arensky at the Moscow Conservatory and then worked there as a teacher. He composed three operas, a ballet and drama music, a symphony, an Armenian suite , scènes nocturnes for orchestra, a barcarolle for orchestra, a fantasy for piano and orchestra, a string quartet, a cantata, and Armenian and Greek songs.
