Artūras Driukas

Artūras Driukas (born August 4, 1961 in Švenčionėliai , Švenčionys Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian jurist, civil judge of the Lithuanian Court of Appeal , chairman of the civil matters department .

Life

From 1978 to 1983 Driukas graduated from the Law Faculty of Vilnius University with a degree in law . From 1995 to 1996 he worked as a judge in the Druskininkai District Court and from October 1996 to 1999 in the Court of Appeal . From 1999 to February 2003 Driukas was judge of Lietuvos Aukščiausiasis Teismas and from February 2003 to January 2009 judge and chairman of the civil matters department of the Lithuanian Court of Appeal.

Since February 2001 Driukas has been lecturer at the Chair of Civil Procedure Law at the Law Faculty of Lietuvos teisės universitetas (now MRU ). Since 1999 he has been a lecturer at the Judges Training Center.

Driukas was a member of the Working Group for the Development of the Lithuanian Code of Civil Procedure 2002. Driukas is a co-author of the Commentary on the Code of Civil Procedure .
