action

Ta is a difficult adolescent student who lives with his beloved father, whom he admires, and with his stepmother , Aajaan Panor, and half-brother. The young man has strong reservations about the new woman at his father's side, who even his esteemed old man cannot get rid of. One day Ta feels strengthened in his opinion when he secretly observes his attractive stepmother, herself a teacher at his school, making love with a tyrannical sports teacher. The hint was given to him by his childhood friend Paw, a dubious boy who, furious with jealousy, wants to anonymously expose his secret and much older lover, he made Aajaan his sex slave by means of dark magic.

Ta contacts his father, but contrary to his assumption, he does not part with his supposedly unfaithful companion, but instead loyally stands by his wife's side to help her with the upcoming scandal. The innocent educator, who was urged by a demonic force to have sex with Paw and the sports teacher, is later expelled from school, her career comes to an abrupt end.

Ta is convinced of the adultery of beauty, he has no inkling of the role of Paws in the tangled network of relationships. Together with five of his friends, including Paw, he then shadows the violent lover of his stepmother. However, the sports trainer notices the clique and after a short time he succeeds in arresting the young people. The instinctual teacher then abuses the group members and sexually assaults two female students. The humiliated youngsters decide to defend themselves with all possible means. To do this, they seek out that dark sorcerer who uses Khmer magic to curse their tormentor until he suffers a painful death. Unnoticed by the group, Paw secretly seeks out the magician and asks him to curse Aajaan so that she will “suffer unforgettable”. The long-suffering lover changes the mysterious events. She mutilates herself and breaks completely mentally until she fatefully confides in a sorceress who frees her from the ominous spell; it itself can henceforth cast ominous curses. The beginning of a campaign of revenge.

Two years later, the six friends meet for a weekend in the country. They want to visit Ta, who has lived with Aajaan Panor in a traditional stilt house since his father's mysterious suicide . The group hopes to revive old times, which initially also succeeds with the cheerful get-together. Smaller conflicts are covered up, hushed up or not dealt with, such as Tas's long-suffering relationship with his childhood sweetheart Kim, who once saw him as an obstacle to her medical studies, broke away from him and has since been in a relationship with Paw, who is also present. However, this idyll suddenly ends in a deadly struggle for survival. The uncanny power that Paw once conjured up now turns against her in the form of the vengeful ex-teacher. From now on they will be hunted by evil, plagued by ghosts and killed one after the other. Dying begins.

The survivors soon also struggle with internal quarrels, the necessary cohesion in the fight against the dark curses is dwindling. The avenger has such an easy game with her victims. The intimidated Paw, whom the ex-teacher tortures, informs his two remaining companions about the events of the recent past until he suffers a gruesome torture death. He is responsible for the downfall of Ta's family and at the same time the initiator of the series of murders. A few moments later, the police storm the property, kill the avenger and free Kim and Ta. At the end of the film, the student wakes up in the hospital bed at the side of her ex-boyfriend Ta. He turns out to be a long-dead ghost who, due to a youthful competition - Kim once vied for the boy's favor, fatally seized dark magic - cannot let go because he is bound to her for the rest of his life. In the last scene, he kills his companion, so that ultimately all young people who once used magic die!

Reviews

The film magazine VideoWoche titled the ' I know what you did last summer ' version as “one of the bloodiest Far Eastern horror shockers in a long time.” Detailed close-up shots in which “bodies are battered and people used in culinary terms undermine this thesis. Furthermore, one comes to the conviction that “everything is played well” and that it is performed “ with good craftsmanship” . In short: "A tip for die-hard friends of the genre, whose reputation in the scene precedes it."
