Arthur Boehme

Arthur Böhme (born June 6, 1878 in Bromberg , † January 2, 1962 in Bochum ) was a German physician.

Career

Böhme studied medicine in Berlin, Bonn, Freiburg and Heidelberg, where he received his doctorate in 1904. He then worked at the Institute for Experimental Therapy in Frankfurt am Main, at the Medical Clinics in Marburg and from 1909 to 1918 in Kiel. During this time he completed his habilitation in internal medicine in March 1911, became senior physician in November 1913 and from October 1915 he held the title of professor. On June 18, 1919, he moved to Bochum as a senior physician in the internal department of the Augusta Hospital . On December 31, 1952, he retired.
