Arthur Chichester, 7th Baronet
Sir Arthur Chichester, 7th Baronet ( April 25, 1790 - May 30, 1842 ) was a British nobleman .
Arthur Chichester came from a branch line of the Chichester family , an old family of gentry from Devon . He was the eldest son of John Chichester and his wife Elizabeth Cory from Hart , Devon. On the childless death of John Chichester, 6th Baronet , a cousin of his father, he inherited the title of Baronet , of Raleigh in the County of Devon, and the family's estates, including Youlston Park at Barnstaple , in 1808 . From 1816 to 1817 he served as High Sheriff of Devon.
Chichester had married on September 8, 1819 in Clovelly Charlotte Hamlyn-Williams , a daughter of Sir James Hamlyn-Williams, 2nd Baronet and his wife Diana Anne Whitaker . With her he had several children, including his heir Arthur Chichester, 8th Baronet (1822–1898).
He was buried in Shirwell near Barnstaple.
