Arthur M. Horváth (born May 21, 1974 in Arad , Romania ) is a German songwriter .

Life

In 2007/2008 Horváth published the song “Zurück nach Zürich” , which he originally wrote for his wife, a Swiss woman. The Zurich media rated the song either sensationally disapproving ( Blick , heute ) or extremely positive ( Tages-Anzeiger , TeleZüri , Radio Energy Zurich ). From 2007 to 2010 Zurich Tourism used the song (video, download) on the city's tourism website.

Horváth has toured internationally several times. He was nominated for the final of the Stuttgart Chanson and Lied Competition and at the end of December 2009 he won the WDR 2 listener voting with his title “The Best Years” .

In addition to his musical activities, Arthur Horváth, who also acts as a sponsor of the Leverkusener Jazztage and the city of Leverkusen, is involved in cultural integration projects and supports young German jazz musicians (U 35) as part of the Leverkusen Jazztage. He is the initiator and jury member of the German jazz prize "Future Sounds". Horváth lives in Leverkusen .
