Arthur Lohse ( bl. 1920s) was a German motorcycle racing driver .

Career

Arthur Lohse from Chemnitz won in May 1925 on Schüttoff in the 350 run of the triangle trip in the Ore Mountains on the Marienberger Dreieck . This was the first major victory for the Chemnitz-based manufacturer, which this year intervened in racing for the first time. In July he won the German motorcycle road championship of the ADAC on Schüttoff Type D as well as the title in the 350 cc class of the German championship of the DMV . In this and in the previous year, ADAC and DMV held separate championships. The DMV won its title in several races from 1924, while the ADAC determined the German champion in just one race as part of the Schleizer Dreieckrennens on the Schleizer Dreieck until 1925 . The lightweight Lohse was the fastest of the day in the race on the Thuringian natural race track on his 90 kg machine with an average speed of 83.10 km / h. Lohse achieved further victories this year in the 350 class at smaller races in Merseburg as well as at mountain races in Naumburg , Ilmenau , on Wolfsberg, on Großer Inselsberg and at the Bockauer Jägerhausrennen.

In 1926 Arthur Lohse defended his 350 title on Schüttoff in the German road championship, which has now been merged. In 1927 he won the first Badberg Viereck race on the later Sachsenring .
