Arthur Fruit

Arthur Obst (born September 26, 1866 in Wittenberge , † December 30, 1936 in Hamburg ) was a German teacher and journalist .

Life

In 1876-86, Obst attended the Johanneum School of Academics and studied history, classical philology and philosophy in Tübingen and Berlin. He completed his studies with the graduation to the Dr. phil. from. From June 1891 he was in charge of the editorial team of the “Cuxhavener Tageblatt” and from December 1, 1892 he was a member of the editorial team of the Hamburger Fremdblatt . He was also chairman of the Association of German Journalists and Writers' Associations.
