Arthur Schleede

Arthur Schleede (born June 19, 1892 in Berlin ; † September 18, 1977 ) was a German chemist .

Schleede studied in Berlin. In 1920 the doctorate to Dr. phil. in chemistry at the University of Berlin , where he completed his habilitation in chemistry in 1925 . From 1925 to 1930 he was a private lecturer and senior assistant at the University of Greifswald , 1930 to 1935 ao. Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Leipzig , 1935 to 1945 of Inorganic Chemistry at the Technical University of Berlin . From 1954 until his retirement in 1957 he taught there again as a full professor. He lectured until 1961.

Schleede was a member of the German Bunsen Society and Society of German Chemists . He had been a member of the NSDAP since 1933 and signed the professors' commitment to Adolf Hitler at German universities and colleges .
