Arthur Stenning
Arthur N. Stenning ( 6 February 1883 in London - 24 December 1972 in Los Angeles , California ) was a British stage and screen actor .
Life
Stenning appeared in several plays on Broadway between 1928 and 1953. Between 1935 and 1963 he also starred in 17 films, including four works in the Sherlock Holmes series with Basil Rathbone , in which he played small roles - most of which are not listed in the credits. Stenning was buried in Hollywood Forever Cemetery .
