Arthur von Kirbach

Arthur von Kirbach (born September 27, 1897 in Chicago , Illinois , † April 10, 1981 in Ventura County , California ) was an American sound engineer who worked for the recording studio of 20th Century Fox at the Academy Awards in 1949 with an Oscar for the best sound was awarded.

Life

Kirbach began his career as a sound engineer in the recording studio of 20th Century Fox in the Hollywood film industry in 1929 for the musical drama Hearts in Dixie, directed by Paul Sloane with Stepin Fetchit , Clarence Muse and Eugene Jackson , and was involved in the production of nearly ninety by 1961 using different spellings of names Involved in filming.
