Artur Gajek
Artur Gajek (born April 18, 1985 in Bergisch Gladbach ) is a former German cyclist .
With the team change from Staubwolke Refrath to SG BP Köln-Worringen , Gajek met coach Werner Bawel , who recognized and promoted Gajek's talent early on. After all, it was Jochen Hahn who brought Artur Gajek to Winfix Techem . From 2008 he drove with ProTeam Milram until its dissolution at the end of 2010 .
The man for classics with a medium profile made his first big exclamation mark in professional cycling in autumn 2006 with two victories within a month. His biggest personal success so far in cycling, a victory in the Belgian one-day race Omloop van het Houtland, followed in first place in Rund um den Sachsenring . With the dissolution of the Milram team at the end of 2010, he ended his cycling career.
