Artur Joseph
Artur Joseph (born July 29, 1897 in Cologne , † November 26, 1983 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German journalist.
Career
Joseph was born to Jewish businessmen. His parents ran a chain of shoe stores that he later took over himself. In 1938 he emigrated to Palestine . At the end of the 1950s he returned to Germany and settled in Frankfurt a. M. where he worked as a journalist. He was also active as a writer.

- 1967: Cross of Merit 1st Class of the Federal Republic of Germany
- 1976: Letter of Honor from the State of Hesse
- 1977: Goethe plaque from the city of Frankfurt am Main
