Artur Ramilewitsch Garipow ( Russian Артур Рамилевич Гарипов ; born January 26, 1985 in the Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Yurmati Salawat in the Pervaya League since 2009 .

Career

Artur Garipow began his career as a hockey player in the youth division of Amur Khabarovsk , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Russian Super League in the 2002/03 season . In total, the defender played only 15 games for Amur in the top Russian league in two years and otherwise played mostly for his second team in the third-class Pervaya League . After he had spent the 2004/05 season at Gasowik Tyumen in the second-rate Wysschaja Liga , he began the following season at HK Junost Minsk in the Belarusian extra league . After only two games, however, he was signed by HK Lada Tolyatti from the Superliga, with whom he won the IIHF Continental Cup at European level in 2006 .

From 2006 to 2008 Garipov was in the Vysschaya League with Chimik Voskressensk , Sauralje Kurgan , Toros Neftekamsk and Neftjanik Leninogorsk under contract. For the 2008/09 season he signed with his ex-club HK Lada Tolyatti from the newly founded Continental Hockey League , but could not prevail there and only completed three games in which he remained unpunished. The entire remaining time he spent with the second team of Tolyatti in the Pervaya League and ended the season with Kristall Saratow in the Vysschaya League. Since the 2009/10 season he has been playing for third division club Jurmati Salawat .
