Artur Tegkaev (born June 10, 1990 in Wladikawkas ) is a German ice hockey player who plays in the position of striker and has played for EV Duisburg in the ice hockey league since 2018 .

Career

Tegkaev comes from the offspring of SC Bietigheim-Bissingen , from whom he moved to the junior department of the Düsseldorfer EG for the 2006/07 season. Two years later he was able to gain his first experience there in the second team of DEG. At the age of 18 he received a sponsorship license for EV Duisburg in the German ice hockey league , for which he also played three games, and was also eligible to play for the upper division Herner EV . After the Füchse Duisburg withdrew to Regionalliga West for economic reasons , he stayed with EVD for another season.

For the 2010/11 season he went to the Ratinger Ice Aliens in the major league and scored the next two seasons in 86 matches 125 times and developed into a high performer, which is why the Mosquitos Essen noticed him and signed him for the 2012/13 season . However, it remained with a short interlude, as Tegkaev joined the Hammer Eisbären in December and played there the rest of the season.

Before the 2013/14 season he signed a contract with the southern upper division EV Regensburg and stayed there for one season before he was signed by EHC Neuwied in the summer of 2014 . In January 2015 he extended his contract there for a further two years.

In the 2016/17 season Tegkaev played for the MEC Halle 04 . He then moved to the Lausitzer Füchsen in DEL2 for three months on a trial basis and finally stayed in Weißwasser for the rest of the season. For the 2018/19 season, the Füchse from Duisburg brought the striker back to Wedau, for whom he already played in the DEL.
