Artyom Shaloyan
Artyom Shaloyan (born July 31, 1976 ) is an Armenian - German weightlifter .
Artyom Shaloyan was born in Armenia. He is married and has two children. Shaloyan lives in Altrip and starts for the AV 03 Speyer . The sports soldier (professional soldier) of the sports promotion company in Bruchsal is trained by Michael Vater and national trainer Frank Mantek . He has been lifting weights since 1986. In 1995 he won the bronze medal at the European Championships. In 2007 he finished 16th in the snatch, 13th in the push and 14th in the duel at the European Championships. The World Championships finished Shaloyan in the class up to 69 kilograms as 31. 2008 Shaloyan reached 305 kilograms during the Olympic qualification and thus achieved his personal best. So he missed while the Olympic standard to three kilograms, but was nevertheless for the Olympic Games of Beijing nominated. The athlete's best performances are 135 kg in snatch, 170 kg in push and 305 kg in duel.
