An elderly gentleman looks at the legs of a young woman with his telescope. This look does not go undetected and the elderly gentleman gets a slap in the face from a young gentleman.

The film is one of the first to deal with the consequences of voyeurism and to convey a certain moral to the viewer .
The film is equipped with the same camera tricks as Grandma's Reading Glass from the same year. Nothing is known about the premiere of the film in the UK. The film was released in France under the title L'astronome indiscret .
