As You Drown is a Swedish deathcore band from Borås . The group consists of Henrik Blomqvist ( vocals ), Simon Exner ( guitar ), Mikael Akerstrom (guitar), Robert Karlsson ( bass ) and Martin Latvala ( drums ). As You Drown are signed to Metal Blade Records and released their debut album, Reflection , in 2009 .

history

The group was founded in 2001 and has been called As You Drown since 2003 . Within two years the band name changed twice. The band was founded under the name Eternal Chaos . Before the group was given its current name, it was called Etheral . The band was originally a classic Swedish death metal band , but since the name was changed to As You Drown, the music style got a touch of metalcore elements.

Former musicians are Alexander Persson ( bass ), Christopher Ranåsen ( vocals ) and Totte (vocals).

The beginning of 2010 it was together with the Polish metal band Vader and the British formation Divine Chaos a tour of the UK , Germany , the Netherlands , Belgium and France .
