The Asencio Point (English; Spanish Punta Asencio ) is a headland on the southwest coast of Trinity Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located on the southeast side of Belimel Bay .
Argentine scientists named her after Salvador Asencio, lieutenant aboard the corvette Uruguay to replace the occupation on the Orcadas station in 1911.
